Okay, I know it has been months since I have posted anything on here so I thought I will update it with this weekend :)
Friday Night we Had the little ones sleep over because Saturday we were all going to get up early and go to the Elgin Parade.
We didnt end up getting home Friday till late so we did not get to do much that night the girls and I just sat and played Wii for a few hrs. & they were actually great at it.. (it's some new golf game that is actually quite fun)
After playing wii it was getting quite late and I knew we had to wake up early so I told the girls we gotta go to bed :( bummer
Saturday morning came and out of all days the girls wanted to sleep in, really? So I let them sleep as late as possible with enough time to get up and get em ready and be at the parade in time. Well anyways that was that ha. we went and sat and watched the parade and got some candy. There was ALOT of people there and it was HOT but it was good. after that as we were walking back to the car the girls wanted take some picutes, and as I find out later after uploading them Haley still had her sticker on that she got in the parade so that stunk oh well.
After the parade I told the girls we would run to Maw-Maw's work because I had to run and get a few things. they got to see in the back room where maw-maw worked and thought it was just oh, so gross... which it is!
On the way back home we went through lords park(?) and I wanted to get out and take some pictures of the girls but by then they were hot, hungry and in no mood so I only got a few.
Next stop was Mcdonalds for lunch then home :)
Sunday- was South Elgins Parade. Another day of waking up early uhh hehe.
This year and last elgin did not do fire works boo hoo but we did see a few from just random people shooting them off. closest fire works were in st. charles but I just opt out of seeing them this yr. to exhasted with two hot parade days in a row. Always next yr for fireworks :)
4th of July party @ Mistys and that was my holiday weekend :)
